Rooted in Community,
Built on Care

Castlehaven Nursing Association stands as a testament to what a community can achieve when it decides to care for its own. Based at The Castle in the picturesque village of Castletownshend, we have been the invisible backbone of health support for our parish for over four decades.

Our mission is elegantly simple yet profoundly impactful: we sponsor a qualified nurse to provide essential healthcare services to those who need it most—the elderly, the isolated, and those battling ill health. From chiropody to bereavement support, from routine injections to compassionate home visits, we ensure that no one in Castlehaven faces health challenges alone.

In a rural parish where distances are measured in stories shared rather than kilometers driven, our nurse serves as both healer and companion, bringing not just medical expertise but human connection to every patient she visits.
